Reviews

Read them
where we cannot
edit them.

This page does not print a star rating or a wall of selected quotes. It sends you to the independent profiles instead, because a rating a practice publishes about itself is worth very little.

Why people come here

  • He teaches occlusion and full-mouth rehabilitation to other dentists
  • Fellowships in three academies — FAGD, FACE and FICOI
  • The complex cases other practices refer out
  • A written, itemized plan before anything is scheduled

Why this page is short

A practice quoting itself
proves nothing.

Most dental websites carry a row of five-star testimonials with first names attached. They are selected by the practice, cannot be verified by you, and in some cases were never written by a patient at all. Publishing an aggregate score here would have the same problem: we would be the ones choosing which platform to quote.

So the links below go to the places where reviews are collected independently and cannot be curated by this office. Read the recent ones, read the critical ones, and read what the responses to the critical ones look like — that last one usually tells you the most.

What is worth looking for

  • Reviews from patients who had the kind of treatment you are considering, not just routine visits
  • Whether the complaints are about clinical results or about scheduling and billing — they are different problems
  • How the practice responds when someone is unhappy
  • Consistency across platforms rather than a perfect score on one of them
  • Recency — a practice can change a great deal in five years

The other kind of review

Peers, and the people
who sit in his courses.

There is a second kind of assessment that is harder to game than a star rating: what other dentists think. Dr. Nosti has been named a “Top Dentist” by New Jersey Monthly by peer vote since 2010 — that is dentists in the state nominating a dentist — and has been named a top educator by Dentistry Today.

He sits on the editorial advisory board of Dentaltown and has published eighteen articles there, along with work in the Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Economics, Inside Dentistry and Dentistry Today. None of that guarantees you a good experience, but all of it is independently checkable, which is more than a testimonial offers.

Start with an examination and a straight answer.

A consultation includes an examination, the records the case needs and a written, itemized plan. If what you are asking for is not the right treatment, Dr. Nosti will say so and tell you what is.
