Getting here

The practical details.

Galloway covers a large area of Atlantic County, and the run to Mays Landing via Route 50 or the Pomona and Jimmie Leeds roads is a straightforward fifteen to twenty minutes for most of the township.

The patients who make this trip are usually doing so for something specific: occlusion and TMJ work, full-mouth rehabilitation, or implant treatment that needs planning rather than placing. Being able to have that done twenty minutes from home rather than in Philadelphia is the practical appeal.

Questions

From Galloway.

I was told I needed to go to Philadelphia for this. Is that true?

Sometimes it is — certain surgical and specialist cases genuinely belong with a hospital-based team, and you will be told if yours is one of them. Complex restorative work, occlusion and most implant dentistry do not require it, and a practice that teaches those subjects nationally is twenty minutes away.

Is it worth the drive?

For a cleaning, probably not — a good local practice is the sensible choice for routine care, and the office will say so. For a reconstruction, a full-arch implant case or a bite problem that has not been solved elsewhere, the twenty minutes is a rounding error against a plan measured in months.

Can I keep my own dentist for routine visits?

Yes, and plenty of patients do exactly that. Complex treatment is carried out here and routine care continues where it has always been, with records shared in both directions. Nobody will try to take over your hygiene visits.

A consultation includes an examination, the records the case needs and a written, itemized plan. If what you are asking for is not the right treatment, Dr. Nosti will say so and tell you what is.
